What it is, and what it is not
TenantSnap is a self-service tool: the report is prepared by you, from your own photographs, on your own device. It is not a survey or a professional inventory clerk's report, and we are not affiliated with RICS or any inventory body. Photos are sent to Google Gemini (or OpenAI as a fallback) only to draft the wording, and are not kept by us.
Common questions
How do I use the launch code?
Take your photos as normal. When you tap Unlock, the payment page has a small “Add promotion code” link — enter FIRST50 and the price becomes £0. You will be asked for an email so the unlock can be restored on another device; no card is needed. A free unlock includes 80 AI photo analyses (a paid unlock includes 300); if you need more, 100 extra are £3.
Who is it for?
Tenants moving in, including anyone newly arrived in the UK, and self-managing landlords or agents who want a dated photo record without booking a clerk.
Opened from Instagram or Facebook and the camera is black?
Those apps use their own mini browser, which often blocks the camera. Tap ··· and choose Open in Safari or Chrome, then continue from there.
Will it help with a deposit dispute?
It is your dated, photographed record of the property's condition, sent at the time. Deposit schemes weigh that kind of evidence, but no report can guarantee an outcome, and nothing here is legal advice.
Do I need an account?
No. Payment is handled by Stripe. The unlock stays on the browser you paid in and can be restored with the email you used at checkout.
